The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is a leading business-driven initiative supporting retailers, importers and brands to improve working conditions in supplying factories and farms worldwide.
BSCI has joined an international movement in support of human rights activist Andy Hall by asking its participating companies to use their influence and request Natural Fruit Co. and subsidiaries to drop the charges against Mr. Hall.
The BSCI Annual Conference 2015 will return this November uniting hundreds of large and small companies with NGOs, government representatives, academics and think tanks from all over the world. Together, we will work towards finding solutions to prominent sustainability challenges in factories and farms worldwide.
BSCI and Initiative Clause Sociale (ICS), a social compliance initiative representing 20 major French and Belgian retailers, have announced the signature of an agreement to embark on a close cooperation with the aim of merging efforts by 2016 under the auspices of the Foreign Trade Association (FTA), BSCI's umbrella organisation.
