On 9 May at 11:00 CEST, FTA will host its first Thought Leadership webinar series of 2017 ‘Assessing the Landscape of Due Diligence Legislation Across Europe’.
In recent years, several European countries have initiated the development of legislations that oblige companies to respect human rights in their supply chains. In February 2017, the Dutch Parliament approved a new due diligence law on child labor, and the French Parliament adopted a human rights and environmental due diligence requirement for French companies with at least 5,000 employees. This thought leadership webinar will provide an introduction to the existing European legislations and how they are set to impact companies.
