The role of consultants within the BSCI process

Alongside the monitoring process, BSCI provides capacity building activities to both BSCI participants and producers in Europe and in sourcing countries. Several types of activities are developed: initial awareness-raising sessions; e-learning tools; in-house trainings; info seminars; and advanced issue-specific workshops. The objective is to help build the knowledge, skills and ownership required to achieve sustainable improvements in social compliance.

BSCI has developed a network of professional consultants who provide tailor-made capacity-building activities to support BSCI and its participants.

How to become a consultant in the BSCI framework?

BSCI only works with professional consultants who have demonstrated their knowledge of the BSCI system and their skills and expertise in capacity-building services. All BSCI accepted consultants are listed in the BSCI Service Provider Directory. More information about the BSCI Service Provider Directory, here.
