Eradicating exploitation from global supply chains requires a combined level of efforts that stems from promoting national governments’ obligation to protect their citizens and migrants to enhancing good recruitment process in the supply chain. These actions include delivering clear and transparent information on the hiring process and job rights and obligations.
The BSCI module on Responsible Recruitment will help companies support and empower their business partners to implement the responsible recruitment practices.
The module consists of:
- Flyer on responsible recruitment practices to promote awareness on a company’s commitment respecting workers’ rights in the recruitment process.
- Guidelines for participants with a step-by-step approach to identify, prevent and remediate such abuses.
- A face to face training session for producers to strengthen human resources departments accessible through the FTA Academy.
- A handout for producers used as a tool to assess risks linked to a recruitment model and how to make improvements with practical exercises to provide guidance beyond the face to face sessions offering also available on the FTA Academy.
