BSCI E-learning tool for primary producers

The BSCI methodology for primary production requests the implementation of an Internal Social Management System (ISMS) at the supplier level, which guarantees a proper follow up on the farms' social compliance the supplier sources from. Setting up a functioning ISMS and the necessary procedures to develop theory into practices (including internal audits) requires: awareness, skills and knowledge on social compliance and the BSCI's implementation.

The BSCI e-learning tool provides primary producers with both an overall overview as well as an in-depth implementation course. The overview is presented in a slideshow and it is open to anyone. The in-depth course needs a password which the BSCI participant should provide to their suppliers. At the end of the course, the user receives a PDF certificate that proves his knowledge on the BSCI's implementation.
